Halmoni’s Kitchen
Halmon’s Kitchen celebrates Korean cuisine and culture, inspired by my grandmother, or ‘Halmoni’ in Korean. The restaurant offers more than dining, immersing guests in the rich history and communal spirit of Korean food.
research & discovery
The goal was to create a Korean restaurant that blended food with cultural experiences. Research included audience insights, interviews with Korean individuals, and studies on cultural design and colors to ensure authenticity.
strategy & planning
Inspired by the communal nature of Korean cuisine, the concept emphasized togetherness through themed events, informational cards, and branded cookbooks. Mood boards were made to align with audience and cultural values.
design execution
Deliverables included branding, restaurant materials, and interactive elements. Collaboration with cultural experts ensured an authentic and immersive experience.
